Event Calendar

Exploring the Faith class began The Tent of Abraham earlier this summer.  Abraham is the main character, but we follow the line of Sarah and her son Isaac and also Hagar and her son Ishmael.  These 5 people hold the roots of 3 world religions, Judaism, Islam and Christianity. 

 

Through the eyes of the 3 authors, one Jewish, one Muslim, and one Christian, we look at this story from 3 perspectives and we have learned a lot.  Much we did not know and much we thought we knew but were mistaken.  Come join in if this interests you.  It is interesting, challenging and stimulating.  When we finish this book we will start another, not yet selected, but guaranteed to give us food for thought and growth.  Contact Mary Anne McGee at magnamc@txwinet.com if you have any questions.
