It's Saint Stephen's 3rd worship choice.  Nova – New Light from the Ancient Source will fit into our Sunday morning and create an innovative venue for worshiping God with ancient tradition, new music, color, art, story, and movement. 

 

Join us as we aim to reach, engage, and form new generations for Christ.  This worship is accessible to all ages and especially open in new ways to youth and children.  Music is primarily contemporary but varies from season to season.  Teaching draws on a variety of resources, often interactive and tactile, in order to communicate the foundational stories of the faith and meaning of the worship service.  Prayers are organized in traditional ways but expressed in fresh words.  This worship is inviting and accessible to new Christians and younger generations, but is very different from modern “seeker services”.  Nova draws on ancient forms, symbols, and language and connects its worshipers all week through a network of relationships, internet resources, home devotions and projects, missional opportunities, and Bible Study groups.  Through worship at Nova and this enriched daily life enriched, the whole congregation can grow daily in Christ and seek to live into the Kingdom of God in our time.  The two parts weave in and out through the lives of the community, through the seasons of life and the seasons of the church year.
